Workshop “Sensory Experience with Canadian Ingredients & Vietnamese Spices”
On March 22, 2025, at Hanoi College of Tourism (HTC), a special workshop in the series of events took place with the theme:
“Journey to Awaken the Taste, Discover the Unique Combination of Canadian Plant-based Ingredients and Vietnamese Spices”.
Attendees experienced 10 Canadian ingredients combined with 10 Vietnamese spices, through a unique sensory journey: touch, smell, taste and feel.
Guest chef – Thao Na, a seasoned culinary expert, introduced a new way of combining ingredients, bringing an explosive culinary experience and inspiring creativity to the participating chefs.
Cooking competition "Canadian Plant-based Ingredients – Bet It's Extremely Good!"
Also within the framework of the event, the Cooking Competition between chefs found the Top 5 best chefs in the Hanoi area from the online round and was announced and awarded certificates. These are young faces showing outstanding acumen, skills and creativity in exploiting the potential of vegan ingredients.
The final round took place on the same day as an important highlight, where the Top 10 talented chefs conquered the challenge with dishes that were not only breakthroughs in technique but also contained stories and personal imprints.
